Hey James,

It was great meeting you at CTN! I worked on this piece a bit more dropping in a person in the foreground and making the stone pathway smaller to make the environment feel larger overall.

Hi James,
lately I've been doing lots of quick unplanned paintings, and a couple of times I've ended up with stuff that I think it's somewhat cool but too weird or difficult to polish without losing the 'charm' of the sketch. Here are two that I think have potential and I'd like to hear your opinion on how to take them further.

Hello James. Here's my image for this month. I focused mainly on the environment here. There's not much story and the characters are more of an afterthought ; would like to know how to make the environment more appealing and how to optimze the overall image. Thanks in advance!

Hi James!

I started digital painting in April, need help with how to finish a digital painting, fundamentals, and glaring errors.

I did a comedic key frame. I think comedic scenes are valuable to the audience for the need to rest, pacing, plus the ability to relate to the characters.


I present a 'plugsuit' pilot out of her mech taking a "selfie" of the Angel behind her. If I were a corporate agent/operative like that I would want to capture the moment to share with my close friends.  As well for the character handing in so-called "intel"  as a selfie pic that speaks directly to her personality and traits.
